Lasers, stages, sound and light, from Pretoria East
Kingdom Events South Africa brings the stage, the sound, the screens and the effects to weddings, launches, school functions and festivals, and our crew runs it all on the night.
5.0 on Google, from 297 reviewsSome of the nights we’ve lit
Concerts on sports fields, launches, galas under canvas, a performer in a bubble. Every photo here is from one of our own events.
Write it in light
A show laser draws with a single point of light, moving faster than the eye can follow. Type a name or a message and watch it drawn the way ours would draw it at your event: over a first dance, across a building, above a stage.

Tell us about your event
The more you tell us, the closer the first quote will be. Prefer to talk it through? Call 079 565 9569.
Tell us about it
The date, the place, roughly how many people, and what you have in mind. A rough idea is enough to start.
Get a plan and a price
We come back with what goes where and what it costs, and visit the venue when the job needs it.
Enjoy the night
Our crew sets up, runs the show from the desk and packs it all away afterwards.
Questions people ask
What would you add to a wedding, beyond the basics?
A water curtain with video projected on it, an interactive LED dance floor, and a laser show programmed to your song, with messages to each other and your photos turned into laser graphics.
Add at least two green lasers for effects and two confetti machines.
What is a water screen?
A projection screen made of a thin curtain of falling water. Video, lasers and lighting effects seem to float in the air in front of your guests.
It's at its best over water that's already there: a fountain, a pool or a dam at the venue.
What is chilled smoke?
Thick, low fog that lies close to the floor and fades as it rises: the walking-on-clouds look for a first dance or a stage entrance. It also gives lights and lasers something to shine through.
Aren't fireworks banned in South Africa?
No. Fireworks are regulated. The SAPS Inspector of Explosives oversees how they're transported and stored and how big displays are run, and the municipality's by-laws decide when and where they can go off, usually with a permit.
Ask us about the permit for your venue when you ask for a quote.
How do flame projectors work?
They burn LPG gas and throw flames 1 to 3 metres high, as a single burst or a continuous column, cued from the lighting desk.
Where real flame isn't allowed, there's flame lighting: fabric and light that looks like fire up to 2 metres, with no heat and no sparks, in red or white.
We're planning a dance competition. Can the floor change for each song?
Yes. We design visuals for the interactive LED dance floors and can program them to any track, with a different theme for each.
Can you build a 3D DJ booth out of LED video panels?
Yes, we'd love to.
